Losi XXX Buggy Kinwald Edition, Dirtinator, parts/restore. Condition: overall buggy is in pretty good condition for a used rc car, CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE. There are some defects I want to note: CHASSIS HAS BEEN BROKEN AND REPAIRED see photos. There are scraps on body and chassis. There is a bearing going out in the rear of car. At low speeds you can hear a bearing noise, but at high speeds the sound goes away.

It does not sound like a gear problem, sounds like a bearing that needs oil. This car has tons of great parts you could use for a restore project, or just enjoy driving a vintage buggy! Everything works, I drove car around track at my house and I was amazed once again what a sweet car this is, handles Jim's with ease and amazing power and speed. (Noticed bearing noise at low speed) shocks are in excellent condition, and Anson anything you throw at them. Has Novak power system and a powerful aftermarket brushless motor.

Team Losi asked him to put together the ultimate version of its Triple-X 2WD Off-Road Buggy using nothing but the best components. After lots of tweaking, lots of racing and, most importantly, lots of winning, the result was the Triple-X Graphite Kinwald Edition Buggy. This is essentially the same car that Brian has used in competition made available to the racing public in kit form. The key ingredients in the new Triple-X Kinwald buggy are the graphite-filled nylon chassis parts that replace the stock chassis components. The effect is an ultra-stiff chassis with almost zero flex.

This results in the most accurate tuning possible. Say you stiffen the suspension. With the graphite chassis, you won't have to worry about chassis flex absorbing any of that energy you intended for keeping the wheels firmly on the track. With the chassis changes come lots of hardware and accessory goodies, too. At the heart of the suspension are threaded, hard-coated shocks with titanium nitrite shafts that are highly resistant to abrasion from dirt and debris. Other crucial components, such as the front axles and motor plate, are machined from lightweight, Kinwald Blue anodized aluminum. Titanium turnbuckles and ball bearing steering provide laser-true wheel alignment and precise control. Genuine MIP CVD (constant velocity drive) shafts on the rear wheels make the drive train just about bullet proof. X-2000 rear tires make good use of the drive train's performance by providing plenty of bite on just about an surface.

Some of the upgrades are more aesthetic than technological. The bumper, motor plate, wheels and rod ends, for instance are all molded in Kinwald Blue and provide plenty of visual cues for your competition that this is no ordinary Triple-X buggy. Topping it all off is an aerodynamically sleek Phobia body! Brian Kinwald, affectionately known as the "Dirtinator" passed away in 2019 leaving behind a legacy of.
